SAAFE House has witnessed a significant surge in demand for our services and client needs. As we provide essential services and support to those in need, especially during these challenging times, the increased demand for our services reflects the importance of SAAFE House's role in the communities we serve.

Our fiscal year runs from Sept. 1 through August 31, and as of June 30, 2023, our client services had increased by 61% over the same period last year. With the increase in client services comes an increase in client needs which are not just our outreach clients but our shelter residents too. With the ever-rising cost of food, electricity, gas, and clothing, we are accepting donations of items but are also in need of funding to help pay the increase in shelter utilities, groceries, and other misc. expenses.

With our shelters full and our partner shelters operating at compacity, too, we are working with local hotels and other agencies to house our clients and their children. This is an unexpected expense but one that we gladly bare to help any victim of Domestic Violence or Sexual Assault and their family.
